The N Word: going full circle

Black rappers/artists and other people with influence have mainstreamed the word nigger so much that other races of people feel it's okay, normal and "cool" to use the word in their everyday speech. What type of mess is this? Recently popular rapper Nas said it's okay if Eminem called him a nigger, because Nas can also call him a cracker! O.K I am a fan of Nas' music but that's one of the most idiotic things I've ever heard an artist say.

HipHop has had probably the biggest role in making the word nigger mainstream and giving people including other races a pass to use it.

The joke is on us yet again!
