*sigh* it is so very sad that mainstream outlets decided to stop giving airtime to conscious, uplifting entertainment. I am soo glad I expereinced a time when radio, TV had balance. You could hear your Snoop Dogg & Dr.Dre on the radio then minutes later they would play Digable Planets & Arrested Development. The relentless pursuit of money has turned the world into a bleaker, more plastic place. I feel for kids growing up today who only have Rihanna & Lady Gaga in their playlists. They have missed so much. *double sigh*
