Kenya Police Draft of Service Standing Orders 2014

Here is the draft of the Kenya Police Service Standing Orders. It is unfortunate that it was so difficult to find. It is nowhere to be found on the Police websites as had been announced in the press. I had to enquire from multiple sources before I could get a copy. The Kenyan public has also only been given until March 19th to review and submit views on an over 1000 page document! It's almost like they don't want us to know about it, and minimize public participation. Anyway, here it is. As a part of their Staying Alive initiative, MTV now bring the drama series Shuga which is under MTV Ignite. MTV Ignite is a campaign in Kenya , Ukraine & Trinidad & Tobago which aims at creating awareness amongst youth on HIV/AIDS and changing their sexual behavior. The Shuga series is one of the TV programmes to launch the campaign and is aimed at the Kenyan youth market.
