HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008! I would just like to wish all of my fellow Kenyans a Happy and prosperous 2008! We have just gone through a tightly fought election with the winner too close to call. A winner has emerged but one side is feeling cheated. As responsible Kenyans let us refrain from inciting out fellow men to violence as we will not escape being affected if it breaks out. So before you ask for mayhem in the streets, ask yourself, are ready for you family and children to go through it and maybe perish? If there are election disputes they must be handled in the courts, otherwise nothing can be solved. I hope you all a blessed 2008 , and may God bless Kenya and all its people!

TO A PEACEFUL KENYAN ELECTION ! As the 2007 Kenyan election draws ever near and we start counting down the hours to the vote, I would just like to take this time out to wish every Kenyan a peaceful election. We must remember that whatever the result, we are all still Kenyans and must co-exist with our neighbours just as before. Whoever you are voting for as your President, MP or Councillor make sure you are making an informed decision, and that you know exactly who you are voting for! Also please think of the future generations of Kenyans and how they will judge your decision tomorrow. Kenya is a great and beautiful country and we should all strive to retain that stability and progress that we are blessed with. Most of all, let us all take the time out to pray that the vote will be for the benefit of all Kenyans, and always remember that God is in control of everything whatever the outcome. Vote wisely and trust in God. May God bless our beautiful land Kenya!

Merry Christmas to everyone! This will probably be my last post for the year 2007, so a Happy New Year to all of you too! God willing 2008 will be even a stronger year with more posts and better things. Isaiah 9:6 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, [a] Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Let us remember Christ this Christmas ! As we come to the close of another year, and we celebrate another Christmas holday we should take the time to reflect and remember the real reason for this special time. The only reason we should celebrate this holiday is to remeber and reflect on the birth of Jesus the Christ. While we were all sinners, God sent us His only Son to come and save us from our sins. God did not have to do this, he could have just wiped out the whole world or sent us to our fates in hell. But instead from His gracious Love he sent us Emmanuel as a child born on Christmas day. Jesus's only misssion while here on earth was to rescue sinners by dying on the Cross and raising Himself from the dead and thus washing away all our sins. So may we all take this Christmas season seriously and thank God for the wonderful Saviour He sent us, and we must take the time out to think of those who are poor, homeless, hungry. Visit a hospital, shelter ot just the beggar on the

New videos from Lecrae, Trin-i-tee 5:7, KJ-52 and more! Hey people! Check out these new videos from urban Gospel artists. First up is Lecrae a Holy-hip-hopper and member of the Cross Movement with his jam called " Praying for you. " Next up is Trin-i-tee 5:7 who have come back after a long hiatus with a nice song called " Listen ." They also have a new album called T57 , so go pick that up. KJ-52 has a new song called " Fanmail. " I really like the concept of this song and continuing with KJ's themes of "letter-from-fan" songs in this one he doesn't write to Eminem again. Instead lets all of us in on the moving mail he receives from his fans out there. He then replies to them in the last verse and i thought it was quite a creative song. And last but not least we have Manafest featuring Thousand Foot Krutch with the rocking jam called " Impossible. " Have a great weekend guys!

Christian's persecuted in America. Many of you have by now heard of the shooting and killing of church members in (Youth With A Mission)YWAM and New Life Church in Colorado Springs . Reports indicate the shootings were carried out by the same 24-year-old Denver man, Matthew Murray who "hated Christians." Five people including a gunman were killed and five others wounded Sunday in two eruptions of violence. Check out the Yahoo story . This is a good reminder to all of us not to assume there are no people out there who deeply hate Christians and would not use violent means against us. We should pray for the enemies of Christ that they may change their hearts. And also pray for the families of those who lost their lives, that they may be comforted by God. Most of all let us pray that we may stand strong for God if we ever faced similar circumstances where our lives were threatened for the sake of Christ. You can read the press conference by New Life Church here . Al

Is God a man-made invention? Watch the debate. Watch this good debate held on October 30th 2007 at Tufts University, in which author Dinesh D'Souza debated Prof.Daniel Dennnett (of Tufts) on the topic "Is God a man-made invention?" Watch all the episodes below. Also check out Dinesh's great blog here (I am now an avid reader) where he defends Christianity and debunks atheist myths about Christianity and religion. I think Dinesh did a great job in this debate. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 part 8 Part 9 Part 10 Part 11 Part 12 Part 13 Part 14 Part 15
