Either there has been a new wave of dope African or Afro-house music, or I've just been sleeping on that scene. Either way house music is causing ripples on the music scene, especially South African-house, like this group called Black Coffee (vid below). Liquideep , another S.A house group also performed in Nairobi last month . This is some of the music I'll be delving into as 2012 opens. It will be interesting to see which direction this music will take and will it become more popular?

I was pretty sure I had posted this song on the blog, but maybe not. Anyway, I really like this song, it's become a favourite over the years. I only heard it first about 3 years ago and instantly fell in love. It's from Letta's 1976 album of the same name. Music used to be really beautiful back in the day, music doesn't have to be loud and in your face, you can also make beautiful songs, artists are you listening?
