The new Gay Agenda

So Proposition 8 was passed in the state of California and the homosexual community in the U.S is mighty angry about this. Proposition 8 was an amendment to the California state constitution which keeps a marriage between one man and one woman, as it has always been. This was an item on the ballot during the just concluded 2008 presidential election. At first it went by unnoticed except for some spontaneous rallies in California. But the protests have started spreading countrywide and the (Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgender)GLBT community are determined to get their "rights" by hook or by crook. They are even looking at the Supreme Court to overturn the decision of the people. Some within the community are blaming African-Americans and Latino's(who voted largely Yes) for passing this amendement.

Although homosexual people(I dont prefer the term gay) already have their civil unions which have basically all the same rights as a marriage, they are still determined to get their "same-sex" marriage. The question is why? It is pretty obvious to me. They dont just want to have the same equality as the rest of society, they want the rest of society to endorse their lifestyle. This is what I refer to as the New Gay(or Same-Sex) Agenda. It is no longer enough for homosexual people to live and let live. Homosexuals want to force the rest of society to agree with and accept their lifestyle. It is not enough that homosexuals just do whatever they do in the comfort of their bedrooms and life goes on, no,no, oh no! They must now throw it in your face and change the laws until those who dont agree with them are boxed in and shut up.

Some who may not even agree with homosexual practice may wonder what all the fuss is about and say "so what let them get married, it wont affect me." I dont see it that way. If you think the GLBT community is going to take their marriage "cake" and be content, then I think you are naive. The New Gay Agenda is one that ensures homosexuals will be present in every facet of life, nothing will be safe anymore. This is actually the aspect of this issue I am quite concerned with. What will stop the homosexual community if and when they get their marriage from forcing churches(and here I mean God-fearing ones) to marry them. It is not too far-fetched to think of some in the GLBT community from suing churches who will refuse to marry them claiming equal rights. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah is quite a good picture of this. In that story Lot had invited two angels into his house, but soon the men were demanding the angels come out so that they could have sex with them. So it was not just everyone go about their lives, its you have to come outside and participate and/or agree with my lifestyle which is what the New Gay agenda is transforming into.

The homosexual community now have a lot influence especially in Hollywood, and the media(which they have used effectively). Why do you think a big percentage of Americans now support this lifestyle, when just a few decades ago it was unheard of? Well they have utilized the media(which is very infuential) to change minds of especially young people, who now buy into all their arguments about it not being a choice, etc. Acceptance of homosexuality also means undermining the Truth of Scripture(no matter which way you look at it.) Homosexuality is one of the things that is the most forcefully condemned in The Bible, and to accept it means to disagree with some very clear verses of Scripture, not to mention Gods intentions during Creation.

What's to stop polygamists, pedophiles, and people with all kinds of sexual fantasies from demanding their rights in future? After all, they were born with those feelings right? Where will the line in the sand be drawn?

  2. I think you have twisted a few facts to suit your readership- but I will not attempt to deny you that right; after all you base your arguments on something a little twisted in the first place( the Christian Faith).

Isn't what the Gay people in the states are trying to achieve the same thing the Christians have done over the years? Force out their views and propagate them until they are accepted?

To compare homosexuality with polygamy and pedophilia is unfortunate and totally ignorant but I guess to push your "Christian Agenda", then falsehoods will do... it has happened in Crusades in Western Europe years ago- why should we expect different?

  3. Naomba wakristo waache ubaguzi. Kama watu wanataka ndoa, wacha waoane. Kama bibilia yenyu iko na shida, hiyo ni shida yenyu.

Kila mtu apewe haki yao! Prop 8 sio mwisho, haki itakuja. Waafrika walingojea haki, wanawake walingojea haki......

  4. what got to me was their intolerance of different views, mobbing an older woman. Taking over someones church.

Fighting for tolerance with intolerance. Nice.

Not to mention blaming the prop 8 passage on black?

  5. I came across your blog while I was looking for an image of the gay flag (the rainbow one). While I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to actually consider and write about this topic, I thought I should say that there's not very much in your writing that makes much sense to me.

First of all, you implied that gay couples should be happy with civil unions (which don't even exist in most states), saying that they give "basically all the same rights as a marriage". Notwithstanding that the few states that have civil union laws provide for none of the several hundred federal benefits granted to married couples, tell me, sir, would you be satisfied if blacks had "basically" the same rights as whites, or would you push to make these rights absolutely equal?

Further you claim that, " Homosexuals want to force the rest of society to agree with and accept their lifestyle." As a gay man myself (you may call me homosexual, if you like), I can, without any doubt, ensure to you that I haven't the slightest desire for you to agree with or accept my "lifestyle," whatever that means to you. I want equal protection and treatment UNDER THE LAW. That's all. I, like most homosexuals, have become adept at dealing with society's intolerance and do not propose to change it.

Also, if you believe that, in the U.S., churches, temples, or synagogues will ever be forced under the law to perform weddings or any other ceremony for anyone they wish not to, then you have a very poor grasp of the long-held and well-entrenched ideal of the separation of church and state. It seems to me that, if you want to protect your church, you would work to maintain the division of church and state. Ironically, it seems to be the Christian fundamentalists who wish to see the blurring of this line.

Regarding choice: even if being homosexual was a choice, it doesn't matter. This is the United States of America. People can choose to be different if they like, as long as that choice does not infringe on the rights of other people. By the way, THERE is where the line in the sand has been, is and forever should be drawn with what should be legally allowed (to answer your closing question).
