South Korean hostages; two freed. Hello, as you may know two of the South Korean Christian hostages in Afghanistan were released a few days ago on a rural Afghan road located south of Kabul. Please all continue to pray for the rest of the captives that God's will may be done in the situation and that our trust as Christians are in Him. Also pray for all those involved in the negotiations with the Taliban. UPDATE: According to the Al-Jazeera website the two women who were released spent the night in a "safe place." - The San Jose Mercury News reports that while there has been some discussion on the phone with the South Koren government and the Taliban, there are no new face to face talks planned. - The Korea Times is reporting that the negotiation focused on ransom and the Taliban is requesting ten million dollars to free all the hostages.
